Saturday, October 13, 2018 marked the 3rd Annual KIDposium™. Kids Rule now! Inc. returned to Saginaw Valley State University, Curtiss Hall and presented an all-day conference specially designed for kids 2nd - 6th Grade. The day began with an inspiring General Session that set the tone for the entire day.
Afterwards, kids and parents went to their separate break-out sessions lead by top-notch Great Lakes Bay Entrepreneurs. Parents and kids then came together again for lunch in the SVSU Marketplace. Following lunch the attendees went to their last break-out session for the day. Lastly, it was time for parents and kids to come together again in the Recital Hall for the Keynote Speaker address. Chef Simone Bridges, of Jacksonville, FL., the owner of Goddess Food Factory was the 2018 KIDposium™ Keynote Speaker. She's a celebrity kid baker, author and owner of Goddess Food Factory. In addition, she is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and STEM/STREAM youth advocate. She believes that kids can be, and do anything and she has a passion for empowering other kids. Kids Rule Now was honored to introduce Chef Simone Bridges to the Great Lakes Bay Region! |
